Terms of Service

Thank you for using Knowledge-Focus! These terms govern your use of our application. By using Knowledge-Focus, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

Quick Summary: Knowledge-Focus is provided "as is," and you use it at your own risk. You are responsible for your own data, including backups and the legality of your content. Optional paid services may be offered in the future under additional terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms​

By downloading, installing, or using the Knowledge-Focus application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. License to Use the App​

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal or internal business purposes, strictly in accordance with these Terms.

3. The Application is Provided "As Is"​

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. You use it at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will we or our affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.

4. User Responsibilities​

  • Data Backup: You are solely responsible for backing up your files. While KF indexes your files, it is not a backup service. We are not responsible for the loss of any data.
  • Content: You are responsible for the legality and appropriateness of the files you manage with the App.
  • API Keys and Third-Party Services: If you choose to use optional features that connect to third-party services, you are responsible for securing your API keys and for all charges and activities associated with your use of those services.

5. Intellectual Property​

The App, including its original content, features, and functionality, are and will remain the exclusive property of Dio Chou and its licensors.

6. Optional Paid Services ("VIP Services")​

We may, now or in the future, offer optional paid services or features. Your use of such services will be subject to additional terms and conditions, which you will be asked to agree to before you are charged.

7. Termination​

You may stop using the App at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

8. Changes to These Terms​

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of significant changes within the App. By continuing to use the App after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law​

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of U.S.A., without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
